Turning a Corner
Mobility & pain slightly easier this morning (have been sitting on ice a lot!) and actually managed a few of the stretches that have been near impossible all week. So, finally left the house for a drive to see some tree colour and hopefully lift my spirits.
Himself and I shared a hot pork baguette while watching various trees and garden furniture float downstream in the Severn, wondering how much of it would get backed up under the bridge...
At Comer Peb reluctantly had a short wander, preferring to make her own way back to me and the pork scraps in the car.
I managed a 50yd carpark stick hobble, then regretted trying another when they returned.
Beautiful light, so headed to Arley Arboretum, where the kind staff in the tea shop let us park in a disabled space (all empty & nearly closing time ) so - after another hobble - we sat in the sun with a lovely cream tea. More deliciousness.
Back home now and straight back on the ice packs.
