A feast for the senses

That’s how it describes the island next to our campsite and oh, my, today is a feast indeed! It’s blowing a hoolie, there’s storms out to sea and the waves are crashing high against the rocks. 

We’ve had an increasingly wet drive to Santander but got lucky on our arrival with a break in the weather. I’m all citied out so I had a tour of Virgen del Mar island at high tide, which at times gave me the heebie geebies with the wind and sea spray, whilst Rich has since ventured in to Santander, where it is now chucking it down. He’ll be happy in his cafes though!

Time for feet up now.
