Storm Leslie decided to swing by.
So all schools have been closed today and it’s been eerily quiet.
The intrepid bookclub girls decided to brave it anyhow - being mostly Brits!
It wasn’t until I’d cleaned the house and prepared all the food that they decided it prudent to cancel.
It is for the best, but I’m done in and will be eating soup for days - haha.

So this is my fireside dinner once I’d squared everything away.

Not raining now, of course, but we are in for a bumpy night.
1m fell in 1 hour between us and the coast!
I managed a Gentle Pilates class this morning too. It was great. Liked it a lot.
