One of Those Days!
You win some. You lose some.
I've not entirely lost though so there's always reason to smile!
Some very sad news about my next door neighbour who has been diagnosed with a brain tumour which is terminal. I can't begin to imagine the pain of her family, especially her children who lost their Dad to cancer not so long a go. Heartbreaking.
A freedom cycle ended in having to be rescued by my Mum having come off my bike...in a freak incident I had just left a set of traffic lights when one of my pedals literally flew off causing me to fly across the road in spectacular fashion.
The best of human kindness was shown to me in two cars stopping to see if I was ok after seeing me come off, and then whilst I was sat on the roadside three others came to check I was alright including a lady in a nearby house offering me a brew and a blanket!
Knees bandaged...bruises appearing...ribs grazed and sore...I may be battered and bruised...I was down but I'm not out. I'll get Livy sorted by next week hopefully so I can spin my pedals again in apple blossom time. :-)
