Up close

I felt well enough to go to the theatre with our friends this afternoon.  No sniffing, sneezing or coughing thank goodness.  We went to Olney for our evening meal and only recently got home.

Chicago was excellent and I was delighted to see that Kevin Clifton and a Loose Women favourite, Brenda Edwards, had significant parts.  The actors who played Roxy and Velma were brilliant, particularly Velma who had really intricate dances.

The ladybirds are everywhere but I’ve hardly seen any native varieties, which is worrying.  This is a Harlequin, which was resting quietly on an outside table,
