Great British Sewing Bee

This is Angela and she was a contestant on TGBSB. Tonight she came to our WI meeting to talk about the experience. She was really interesting and very funny. She brought all the outfits she had to make and she told us all the behind scene stories and the process. On the left is her David Bowie themed frock coat that she made on her last appearance before she was voted off. It was a good innings as Angela lasted until show 6 out of 10. I wish I could sew!

I gave a quick update on the wild swim group. It was fortunate that I’d made a swimgo bingo pack. There are lots of fun things on it and I’m having some badges made for those who tick off 12 different activities. I bought a new printer today to print the bingo cards and post cards and stickers had arrived yesterday from VistaPrint. It looks quite professional and the ladies I gave them to were really pleased with them.
