Cocker Spaniels do the funniest things

I'm not sure if all cocker spaniels do this, but when anyone walks through the front door our dog Poppy feels like she needs to grab something so she can give it to you. At the same time she will wag her tail so much that the whole of her body shakes with excitement.

When we were in our old house, it was shoes, socks or something from the washing bin. This meant we would often be greeted by someone's knickers or boxer shorts!

Our new house has a little cupboard for shoes and the washing basket is also hidden from view, so she has nothing to collect apart from this hedgehog doorstop. Poppy has become very attached to the hedgehog and even though she greets you with it, she will not let you have the hedgehog! We have found it hidden under a bush, behind the sofa and in the garage!
