Look......no cones!!

The roadworks started a week or so before I left to go to Twizel....mid June sometime.  It's been noisy, frustrating and long journey to this point......the day I stepped outside to be greeted by.......no roadcones.  Yay!  No more one-way traffic, no more noisy machines, no more stop-go people parked on the verge..........a road the way it should be.....two-way and (relatively) quiet.  It's taken 3 months for normality to resume, but given I was away for two of those months I can only imagine what my neighbours must be feeling after a full 3 months of disruption......
