The Scottish Play

In London for a long weekend. I walked through the city to my accommodation in Chelsea. Usually a walk takes me through areas which show the diversity of the city and its wealthy and more rundown areas, today it seemed to be mainly very wealthy - probably until I got to my hotel which is very nice but not very expensive! Into the west end in the evening to see David Tennant and Cush Jumbo in Macbeth. An interesting production which required the wearing of headphones throughout. There were a few interesting sound effects and the actors were able to speak very quietly at key points which worked well, but I found it very distracting. Hoping it doesn’t catch on!
