Quiet day today. I was able to get out for a lunchtime wander and pop back into the hot chocolate shop.

I hadn’t been in for a few days, so I was nervous that I may miss out on the “usual?” question, but it duly came with a smile and I wandered home chatting to a friend on the phone. 

Pausing the conversation briefly (I don’t think she even noticed), I snapped this shot of the tree by the river. The colours are so glorious this time of the year.

Late afternoon I headed to the school to collect The Youngest who was returning from a residential trip to Manchester. She was full of beans and remarkably, seemed to have actually had some sleep the previous night! I was glad I was protected from the elements by the van (extra).

We then spent a little time with my parents - where a rainbow came out to play (also extra) - before another unhealthy tea and crashing out.

Currently binging Shrinking - it’s ace!
