I was invited along to Cockermouth Mountain Rescue this afternoon to meet the Chairman of the Lake District Search & Mountain Rescue Association following my Wainwright's Lake District Challenge. I was made very welcome, and given a tour of the centre and shown all their equipment and how they deal with calls. They were very appreciative of my efforts in climbing all the wainwrights to raise (to date) £1,670.
