Nine O’clock on an October Morning
After the unsettling stories of people feeling poorly after their recent Covid and Flu jabs I was pleasantly surprised to find that I woke this morning with no side effects , not even sore arms. The nurse told me I was getting the Covid Pfizer vaccine yesterday and implied that the Moderna one I had in April had been known to give sore arms. Maybe she was just trying to reassure me. With no side effects one has to wonder if the vaccine is doing its job.
I met daughter #1 for coffee in Costa in Castle street now that the one with the view in Hanover Street is no more. There is little comparison, so we might have to rethink our meeting place. Because we usually meet on a Saturday morning and this is definitely Friday, I have become very confused as to what day I am operating in. However once I have met up with my TGIF neighbours later I should be able to reset my calendar.
At one point today it was sunny and I liked the reflection off the clock tower on the EFI in the glass building as I walked past.
