Dawnlight Express

Marian's in Northumberland at the moment for her niece's wedding. I should have been there too but they only announced the date after I'd booked my trip to Slovenia and I really didn't think I could organise myself to tear up and down the country. Besides, we can avoid Cato going into kennels as I'll leave on Monday morning and Marian will get home that evening.

With the bed to myselfI was up before the crack of dawn and with a misty start to the day, I went down to the river to catch the dawn. The sun rose into some cloud on the horizon but gave a nice glow that was reflected in the estuary where the tide was fully in. I heard the Penzance train coming out from Teignmouth and thought it might add some balance to the left hand side of the picture.

I don't quite know why I can't manage to do this when Marian's at home.
