Surrey Lane
I needed a lot of will power to go to my “Move it or Lose it” session this morning, but of course once I was there I really enjoyed it. The lively music is part of the enjoyment. I am not sure whether I am moving any better, but I don’t think I have lost it, yet.
This afternoon we went for our Covid/flu jabs. We book on line, and are given a choice of venues. They are mostly High Street chemist shops, but, just as previously, we were given the option of driving out into the country to a village hall where a friendly and efficient team give us a warm welcome in spacious surroundings. It was all over in five minutes.
It was a beautiful sunny afternoon so we carried on out into the countryside . Fortunately N really enjoys driving and was happy to wander through the Surrey lanes where the sun shone through the beech trees. It is said that Surrey is the most wooded county in the country, and it looked very beautiful this afternoon. Not so beautiful (in extra) was the pile of wood on a village green, presumably being collected for bonfire night.
