Signage at the mouth of the Tyne...

...on our wander this evening...

An early start and a smooth run up the A19 this morning. 

The cousins gathered at coffee time, followed by a tasty meal at Trenchers at the Spanish City. The acoustics were perfect for the hard of hearing, so we enjoyed a proper catch-up ;)

Alan and Collette headed off up the A19 soon after, while the rest of us had a pleasant walk along the seafront in the last of the light.

Roy and I are now on our own, feet up and watching an old Morse. No rushing about tomorrow morning!
