carving
Friday at the cafe. I ate my lunch on a bench beside what used to be Greyfriars Church and is now an Orthodox Cathedral. It is made from Locharbriggs sandstone and has a high spire which dominates the area around Burns Statue. Built in 1866-8, an example of Gothic Revival architecture, it has some wonderful carvings by local stonemason William Flint.
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
