Autumn Star

When I moved in I dug up the lawn and laid wildflower turf. It's a great excuse to give up mowing and imo looks much better. 

Wild geraniums (I think) thrive at this time of year,  and bring some lovely dots of colour. When they're gone I'll do the end of season trim.

Meanwhile, they may a big impact for little survivors.
