BCAM2024 - Day 17

Back in January, I had booked to go see the ballet today with my neighbours! It was a ballet about the life of Coco Chanel!

Janine drove us down and booked lunch at a fabulous Chinese restaurant right beside QPAC. Needless to say I was delighted.

Delicious lunch devoured, and off we went to the ballet. There were two in our group who’d never been to a ballet, so they were really looking forward to it.

The dancers were very professional, I was really impressed with their movements. Janine said that one of them used to live in our neighbourhood even!!!!

It was a wonderful thing to do with my neighbours and I really did enjoy being with them, looking forward to more already.

Driving back through Brisbane, we saw so many jacarandas blooming beautifully, such a treat.

And today is my eldest sister’s 60th birthday!!! We weren’t able to be with her for this milestone but we’ve treated her to some fun stuff which I hope she (and her family) will enjoy.
