Gratuitous Mountain Scene

Last minute work, car packing, picking up Grandma and Adam from the airport at 12, and then off to Wanaka.

And a stunning day to drive! Blue skies, lots of snow, simply awesome. Stopped for several photos, but it's always hard with the family, and today there we're numerous awesome pics to be had. But hard to stop for them. This one was taken while driving, camera out the window, at 100kph. Hand and camera was cold ... ;-)

So we're here now, arrived at 5.30, glass of wine in hand, and hopefully some good weather for skiing and blipping!
