Its been a BIG day.....fun this morning, emotional this afternoon.

This morning we were off at 7.30am for the briefing as we were marshaling at a 21km run/walk and a 10km run/walk. We never got home until 12.30.  I took lots of photos, but when I snapped this guy I knew it would be my blip.  Another step and he would have been out of my frame, lucky!

Lunch, then I was away picking up two other ladies on my way to the home of our friend that died three weeks ago suddenly.  Her wishes were to have just family together for her cremation, this afternoon the family invited us to her home to share memories and tears.  It all got a bit much for me, many hugs with her daughters,  in particular the one that lives in Canada....we went to her wedding many years ago, and always catch up when they return to NZ usually yearly to 18 months.  They had been home back in April.  I'm even teary typing this.
