An uneventful day. Some grocery shopping and another wander around the garden centre. The rain stayed away until late afternoon.

The excitement (not the best choice of word) was after dark. I hadn’t been upstairs long when the bedroom lit up. Outside was a police car with headlights on. Not the usual van we see here . . . this was a town/motorway style car. It reversed a bit and appeared to park.

Then a police transit van drove past. I haven’t found out what was happening but I do know that it took me a few hours to fall asleep after that.
