HS2

This is the view from the recently completed bridge near Waddesdon in Buckinghamshire. The bridge crosses what will be the track for the High Speed  Two railway. (At the moment you can see it is a stream following our recent rainfall). At various point along the track bridges are needed and they are gradually being completed. What is surprising is the amount of earth moving  required to facilitate a meeting of road and rail. In Victorian times it would have been a much simpler level crossings.
