The Big Sook!

It was calm today before the first named storm (Ashley) of the season comes our way tomorrow.

Mrs CBL and I thoroughly enjoyed our first beach walk since we returned home from our wee jaunt down to Central Scotland.

It was good to see several sanderlings running about at the water’s edge.  This one posed momentarily for me as it sooked a tiny morsel from of the sand.  It looks like it had to dig deep to get it.
