There was a bigger crowd than normal today as Chester played top of the table Scunthorpe United. A draw was a fair result but it was the second goalless draw at the ground since the new scoreboard was installed so we still have no proof that it works.

It was also retro day with fans encouraged to wear old shirts. As part of my tour of the ground I wore six different shirts and took them off as the tour progressed which went down well. It was incredibly uncomfortable at the beginning when I was wearing all six.
