An ace day

R and I headed to Birmingham again at lunchtime to collect the dress. The fitting is perfect and the lady has done a superb job. I asked if I could take a picture of the seamstress and her daughter, such pleasant people.

We then planned to come back to Stoke on Trent to go to Bookers for wedding reception shopping, then discovered that they closed at 3pm today. A change of plan and we headed south to Costco. I’ve never been in one before and was amazed at the size and range of goods. We got most of the things we had on the list and the bill was considerably less than expected.

It was a successful day in what we achieved, also having time to chat about all sorts of things that come to mind.
