A Pushover!

There they both were, standing on the edge of the rocks.....when suddenly.....a hard push....beak right up the bottom ......... and he was shunted off his perch out to sea! 'Go and catch supper!' is what came to mind watching!

What a fabulous day we've had boating round the Farne Islands seeing the seals, razorbills, cormorants, guillemots, kittiwakes, puffins and terns many of which had babies and were feeding bringing in food by the bucket beakful! I couldn't believe the terns were nesting right on the edge of the path which resulted in being mobbed by angry parents - I got a massive crack on the head by a vengeful bird. So ducking and diving flapping my hands occasionally over my head we managed to get to a good vantage point on the edge of the cliff to see the nests on the cliff face and also the burrows of the puffins.

Magical!!
