Happy 80th birthday Sylvia

Tonight Linton Jazz (in party mode) played at Sylvia's 80th birthday party in Castle Camps.

Sylvia is a longstanding member of Linton Jazz and also the oldest, and she's certainly not giving up the trumpet yet...  We celebrated her birthday with some of our favourite tunes, along with some friends and neighbours.  I thought the band played really well with some outstanding solos.  It was a lovely evening.

We also got the opportunity to say congratulations and good luck to Chris, our percussionist, another longstanding member.  He is getting married next month to Chloe which is so lovely.  Have a wonderful day, honeymoon in Mexico and a very happy life together.  See you next year Chris!
