The Greenbelt

After the excitement of last night and a busy week, I had a slow morning. The promised moisture in our area has disappeared completely. It was another beautiful day but we need snow so badly.. The Bighorn mountains did get some snow and rain, and it has helped the fire containment. The Elk fire is now 48% contained. 
I decided I wanted to walk the greenbelt, which runs along the Laramie river. I liked this curvy view of the path as I headed back to the car park. I even saw several grasshoppers and a butterfly out there today, which is just wrong..
Just chores today and a quick drink with a friend this evening.
