American Pie . . . Don Mclean

This morning we walked to Al Brown's The Fed. It is his take on a traditional New York deli.  We sat in booth and I ordered Salmon Latkes and added a poached egg and TLD had a Tuna Melt.  It was busy with people coming and going and a lot ordering sandwiches to go or servings of cheesecake boxed to go. 
Then we walked back to Queen St and did some purchasing in Lush.  A whole shop dedicated to skin care, hair care, soaps etc. Next a bookshop because I love a good bookshop. Finn now has a collection of fairytales as part of his Christmas present and I have the new Rebus detective novel.
TLD dropped me at the airport and I started reading on the plane.
