Hora del baño para las tortugas bebés.

The baby tortoises' crate was looking a bit grimey, so I decided they needed a good clean out. The earth, poo and pee was chucked out and replaced with clean compost, and each creature was individually washed, scrubbing with a soft toothbrush as the shells were caked in mud. They seem happy in their new environment, all except one, larger than the rest, who I put out in the garden to join his full-grown relatives. Go well, little one - it's a hard world out there.
