Breakfast…

Despite the gale force winds and heavy rain the lure of a bacon roll and iced latte called me down to town. They normally serve their butties in a ciabatta bun but had no ciabatta today so asked if I would mind having bread instead. I was delighted because a bacon sandwich is so much better than in any sort of bun or roll. And definitely no sauce on it!!!
I don’t know whether there is normally a freight ship early on Sunday mornings but there would have been no chance of it getting in during last night. Will it have calmed enough overnight I wonder? Otherwise it looks as if breakfast tomorrow will be weetabix with no fruit! Why not go back to M&S for a repeat of today’s breakfast I hear you ask. Well they might have bacon but are unlikely to have bread or ciabatta.
