Snettisham

The day is as rainy as predicted, but at least it clears towards mid-afternoon allowing us a trip to Snettisham. G and I are keen to see the area in the light before we do the pre-dawn trek to see the ‘spectacular’ either tomorrow or Monday.

The walk is ‘pramable’ so all five of us make it to the sea wall overlooking the mudflats. Several other people seem to have the same idea, all of us hoping to see someone who knows the area and can tell us the best place to see the knots rise up en mass as the spring tides come rolling in, but it’s the bling leading the blind. Still, at least we know the route.

By now the rain clouds have cleared enough to allow slivers of blue and rays shine down in Snettisham’s wonderful patterns of channels through the mud - my main today. And in extras there’s a shot of Solveig, Lili and Daniel on the sea wall.
