Goodbyes
A day of goodbyes as Mr PHl’s brother and his wife were leaving mid morning so despite our late night we joined them for breakfast. It’s been lovely to spend a bit of time with them without dogs and children taking our attention.
Tried to nap after breakfast but ended up lying in the sun again and enjoying watching my wee great nephews playing in the kiddie pool with a new snorkel mask set and trying to soak everyone with their water pistols or should I say super suckers as they had multiple barrels!
Tried to catch up on blip before dinner but the signal was so poor my photo sat at 99% for so long I only got one day dive.
We headed to El Mundo for dinner, a lovely Spanish restaurant we’ve eaten in on several previous occasions. One of their specialities is sole waleska, crisp lemon sole in a creamy, cheesy sauce with prawns and truffles. Absolutely delicious.
A farewell cocktail in the Piano bar for the four older adults where we all enjoyed a strawberry daiquiri in memory of Angela‘s sister Anabel who was taken too soon a year ago on the 19th.
