Ramblings and Mutterings

A lovely lie in after the dramas of the week.

A quiet morning, so did some reading. I'm now closing in on 100 books for the year.

Down to the Gnoll in the afternoon to watch Neath play Ystrad Rhondda. We won 33-24. It sounds an exciting game but it was rather dull. We burst into a 21-0 lead within about 15 minutes but after that it was very scrappy, partly down to the nit picking referee. There were handbags at dawn in the second half, as the frustration of the players boiled over. It wasn't helped by the Ystrad Rhondda coach being a chopsy so and so, and who was goading the Neath coaching team. Stupid idiot!

And then down to Cardiff to watch the Devils play Manchester Storm. We won 3-2 and again it sounds exciting but it was a bit of a struggle at times.

My blip is Taz, the Cardiff Devils mascot.

A nice sporty day, even if the games weren't the most exciting.

Batten down the hatches tonight as storm Ashley is about to hit.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  A lie in
2.  A relaxing day
