Eye in the sky

Today was my favourite day for music. Also, the last of the girls arrived so all six of us were finally together again.

We were all excited to see Hot Chip who were one of the highlights of Electric Picnic in 2010. They didn't disappoint, and we danced till we nearly dropped!

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs followed, and they were fantastic. Karen O is so incredibly cool! At one stage, she pushed this giant inflatable out into the crowd and it floated around and glared down at all of us.

Finally, Kraftwerk came onstage, promising a unique 3D experience. We had all been given 3D glasses on the way in and there were great retro graphics on the giant screen at the back of the stage. I thought the band were übercool.

Oh, I had such a happy, fun, festival weekend!
