EQC Guys

These men came this morning to check the land for any earthquake damage and to measure up the property. All seems odd to me as we had no land damage here at out place. They both were really nice guys and said I could take their photos as long as I could but it on slim mode!

EQC stands for 'Earthquake Commission' we have to pay a levy on top of our insurance for earthquake damage. Any damage under 100,000 is handled by them and if you have over the figure the insurance company's cover the rest. You do have surcharge to pay your yourself depending on your cover.

We were to get a warmish day but so far it is very overcast and cool
