Very High Tide

As storm Ashley approaches the tide was almost touching the underside of the New Quay, and almost up to the top of the defenses on the Esplanade. Wind coming from the West so it isn't driving any overtopping here. In Tarbert there is water on the fish quay. Pictures from the West coast (Ayrshire are much more dramatic on social media).
