Clean up squad
The trees seem to have become more autumnal in the last week. It was very noticeable in the North East, but even here at home there is much more gold in the foliage than there was. Cathy and I popped out to get a few bits of shopping earlier on and chose exactly the wrong moment to arrive at the car park, as the rain was torrential. We should probably have waited for a few minutes as we got really quite wet, walking the short distance from the car to the shop entrance :-)
In the garden the Dunnocks were busy competing with the Pigeon for the seeds falling from the feeder. As you can see from their respective sizes, in comparison, the Dunnocks don't eat that much.
