Time to go?

… no not for a while.
We drove down to Liverpool this morning and boarded Fred Olsen’s Bolette for a cruise to Northern Spain. We drove in torrential rain down to England but by the time we arrived in Liverpool late morning, the skies cleared and the sun came out. Unfortunately the wind has picked up considerably, thanks to Storm Ashley, and the captain has taken the wise decision to delay sailing till 4am tomorrow morning, apparently high swell in the Irish Sea tonight would be rather unpleasant! We should still arrive in Getxco, the port for Bilbao on Wednesday morning as planned so no problem at all. We have sailed with Fred Olsen quite a few times before but this is our first time on Bolette, first impressions are good.
