Pulled Over?

Not pulled over, only pulled up... The rain was coming down in, um, rain when I took Morrigan up to Gloucester for a Bike Safe monitored ride with the Gloucestershire Police. Happily, by the time the classroom element of the course was done, the rain was coming to an end and in the warm classroom my gear was almost only damp...

Storm Amber is all over Scotland and the north of England today, so we escaped that, but the winds were tremendous nonetheless, as we made steady progress with occasional pressing on around the Cotswolds.

At the end of our rides we had a debrief... (we were two riders and one police motorcyclist, but there were about two dozen of us and ten or so IAM, RoSPA and Police monitors in all, and we all shot off in different directions. 

I'm happy to say that both of us were recognised as safe riders, which is all one can hope, really. I was advised to use more of the inner and outer edge of the carriageway, but all in all, all went well. Tomorrow there will be the washing of the bike...
