Nearly there...

This is the Hope Bell in Queen's Park in Loughborough. It's nearly finished. It was commissioned to commemorate the impact of Covid-19.

Why bells? Loughborough is the home to Taylor's Bell Foundry, one of the last still going in the UK. Plus, in the background you can see the copper roof of the Carillon. 

Popped into town with my visiting pal to have a wander and go to the makers market to have a browse.
