Cumbria Here I Come

By marpaul

Misty wasn't happy walking in the rain this morning so the walk was a very very short one!  Well she is the boss after all.  Later on this morning the rain stopped and blue sky suddenly appeared and stayed for quite a while.  Then the wind arrived and it really is blowing a hoolie out there.  Had a lovely long chat on the phone with a friend which is always good.  Later on managed a second walk with Misty and she was happy to walk a bit further than this morning.  At least it wasn't raining.

Today's blip is a lovely colourful self seeded flower which grows in-between the paving slabs.  I believe its called Gaillardia also known as Blanket Flower.  Oh and as I was wandering around the garden looking for something to blip I spotted a Red Admiral butterfly flying around and watched it land on a leaf and hanging on for dear life.  Wonder if it was the one I blipped yesterday.
