Wild

Blimey today's been a wet one. Early-ish start for us as we popped to the first showing of The Wild Robot at The Everyman. Hard to rate this one as the animation and score are absolutely stunning, and the first half is a beautiful story of feeling outcast and found family and motherhood and stuff, but then the plot takes a bit of a left turn and it lost me slightly there... The mint choc milkshake I had there was excellent though! Afterwards, rather then take a walk in the rain, we hopped on the Metro down to The Wolf for a roast, because if we're in Brum on a Sunday then you better believe a roast is happening! Gotta take advantage of the pumpkin pie whilst it's on the menu, too...
