Lady on a bench

I’ve seen this statue many times as I’ve driven past Eastleigh train station but was able to have a closer look at it today while we were waiting for a bus. She is Charlotte Mary Yonge who was a local author and teacher who apparently gave Eastleigh its name.
We had a much better journey back from Devon than our journey yesterday. Very glad to get home!
