Südgelände

My parents are visiting Berlin. After an extended brunch we wandered across town for a walk in the Südgelände park, which used to be a shunting yard. A lot of the tracks and other infrastructure like the turntable are still in place. Only the place is fairly overgrown and is now a nature reserve. There is also some excellent graffiti (see extra).

We continued past the Südkreuz into the Gleisdreieck Park where we stopped for a drink and some food. Back home for a couple of drinks and feeding the teenager.
