Seegers&Eastwood

Doug Seegers got known in Sweden through a Tv-serie, hosted by a Swedish country singer, about county-music in Nashville, he had lived a ruff life a few years after a crashed career as a country musician and had lived on the streets for some time before the Swedish Tv-host and an artist who was featured in that episode of the series "discovered" him and  recorded one of his songs together with Doug.

Swedes are a bit wimpy about this kind of heart-warming stories and he was well known all over Sweden overnight  and it didn't take long before he was on his feet and had started touring again. 

This evening he performed at Kalmar theatre with a Swedish singer called Eva Eastwood and her band. She has also had a kind of a revival with her music, she used to tour with her band playing rockabilly songs. Together with Doug they are doing a kind of mixture of the two styles, recorded a cd and are now on a big tour through Sweden. The audience loved them and their music, you could feel the love being fed to the artists and they did a great two and a half hour show.
