new life

Quite a day - the church was told this morning that our Pastor (of 15 years) and family will be moving West in February. They will be greatly missed but his gifts will be used elsewhere and how can we deny him the pleasure of moving to Bath!
We were reminded in the sermon -1 Timothy3, what you believe if you are a Christian ( a follower of Christ) and what the church is (not a building but a body of people who should love and care for one another.
Later on FB had an eye apt at 4.50. at 8.15 he walked through the door having sent me home 11/2 earlier. Thankful it was so local.
