Medousa at Maleme

From afar we noticed some 12 Navy vessels in the Gulf of Chania, close to WW II airfield Maleme and later in the day we learned it was a coordinated Navy training of the Greek and French and Egyptian and Saudi Naval forces.... that naval training is given the name "Medousa".
 
Luckily that was the case and not what was our thoughts of American Navy ships awaiting their sailing off onto Libanon or Israel.
