Ready for bed

Except he is not in his bed but on a pillow that is normally one of a pile of cushions on the little bed that has been moved as we are sleeping in the little bedroom with Mum and Dad here. An early night is required after a long (and lovely) day yesterday, a night in an unfamiliar (but comfy) hotel bed and a journey home through some of Storm Ashley. Windy and wet all the way but the worst of it was in the first half an hour or so with lots of standing water on the A1. Bailey was pleased to see me when I got in and had been a good lad for his favourite people. Unlike his dog cousin, he has been more than happy to be elsewhere in the house once the initial greeting was done.
