Mon dieu!

Looked at weather forecast, decided against going to the allotment. Looked out of window, bright sunshine, so I thought I'd walk down to Asda. Got a face full of rain as soon as I got out the door so went by tram. So then the sun came out again.

I noticed another grey ship lurking in the docks - thought it was that Dutch navy one that was on NATO exercises a couple of weeks back. But hey....the flag's wrong - that's not Dutch, it's French! Come to think of it the French have a long history with Leith - Mary of Guise, and all that claret, etc, etc.

News from the island is that all sailings were cancelled today so they had a day off.
